Reiki and sound healing are gentle and non-invasive, but we recommend avoiding sound baths if you:

  • Have a pacemaker or certain heart conditions (vibrations may interfere with devices)

  • Are in the first trimester of pregnancy (as a precaution)

  • Have sound-sensitive epilepsy or severe sound-triggered migraines
    If you’re unsure, always check with your healthcare provider first. Reiki alone is safe for most people, including pregnant women and children.

  • Those with sound sensitivity (especially to gongs or high-pitched tones) may find some instruments overwhelming.

  • If you are in acute psychological distress or crisis, we recommend speaking with a mental health professional before attending, as energy work can bring emotions to the surface.

Everyone’s experience is different. You may feel heat, tingling, emotional release, or deep relaxation — or simply a sense of calm. Some people see colours, drift into dreamlike states, or feel energy moving. Whatever your experience, it’s exactly what your body and soul need in that moment.

Not at all. Our sessions are open to everyone, whether you’re brand new or experienced. You don’t need to “do” anything — just come with an open heart and the willingness to relax and receive.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything you need to feel relaxed — like a blanket, pillow, or yoga mat. Some people like to bring crystals, an eye mask (we offer them too!), or a journal for after the session.

Most people feel deeply relaxed, lighter, and more grounded. Occasionally, some people may feel emotional or tired as part of the energetic release process — this is normal and part of your healing. We recommend drinking water, resting, and being gentle with yourself afterward.

For deep healing or during stressful times, weekly sessions can be helpful. For general well-being and maintenance, once or twice a month is ideal—but listen to your body’s needs..

We provide air beds, and we ask that you bring pillows and blankets, for your comfort. You’re welcome to bring your own journal, or anything that helps you feel comfortable.
